Realty Point Real Estate Sales Award Winner, 2016
On December 11th 2016, the President and Owner of Realty Point, Zia Abbas, presented awards to the top Realty Point agents for the year 2016. It was an incredibly successful night for Aziz who was awarded the honour of two awards.
He was the second place recipient for Highest Commercial Lease Transactions and was able to surpass hundreds of other agents to receive the first place award for the Highest Commercial Sales Commissions.
Letter Of Recognition From The Premier Of Ontario, Hon. Kathleen Wynne For CABC
Following a networking event for the Canada Afghanistan Business Council (CABC) in December 2015, the Hon. Kathleen Wynne penned a letter of recognition for the Council. Keynote Speaker Presenter Bio, Small Business Forum, 2016
Aziz was the keynote speaker during a forum for the Scarborough Small Business Forum in October 2016. The forum included his keynote speech, panel discussion and speed networking among other endeavours for aspiring entrepreneurs. Community
Aziz has been highly involved in his community. In 1996, Aziz, along with others, founded the Afghan-Canadian Business Association (ABAC) in order to spur economic growth and stronger business ties between Afghan and Canadian businesses. As the President, he was able to strengthen business and community ties resulting in a win-win situation for all involved.
Aziz was also a founding member of the Canada Afghanistan Business Council (CABC) and was its first elected President. This organization focused on increasing business between the two countries of Afghanistan and Canada. Such endeavors aimed to strengthen economic ties between the two countries and increase employment for citizens of both countries. Many new businesses and employment opportunities for people sprung up as a direct result of Aziz's leadership and highly focused and resilient efforts.
